On the eve of the great holiday—Victory Day—in 2014, a memorial monument to the Unknown Soldier who perished on the Stalingrad land was unveiled on the premises of the company’s head office. The idea of constructing a monument arose back in 2013 when the remains of a Soviet soldier and his uniform were discovered during excavation works.
The company’s management considered it their civic duty to perpetuate the memory of the soldier who fell for the freedom of the Motherland and to pass on the memory of Victory in the Great Patriotic War to future generations.
A simple yet profoundly meaningful idea was embodied in this monument: we all remember the great feat of our grandfathers and honor the memory of the victims of that terrible war. Almost the entire company staff gathered for the ceremonial opening of the memorial. Thus, the tradition of deep respect for those who fell during the Great Patriotic War was continued, fulfilling one of the most honorable missions—to be successors of our fathers and grandfathers and guardians of the memory of the Great Victory.
