As part of the project, the original routes for the construction of cable racks intended for laying 110 kV cable lines were redesigned, taking into account the client’s existing and planned infrastructure.
Cable racks were constructed, 8 km of 110 kV XLPE-insulated (cross-linked polyethylene insulation) cable routes were laid, 110 kV overhead transmission lines were reconstructed, and the 110 kV outdoor switchgear at Volgograd CHP-2 was expanded by four line bays. The full scope of commissioning works, including cable testing, was also completed.
