Substation «Kuibyshevskaya» is a hub substation of the Samara energy system. It participates in power distribution to Zhigulevskaya HPP, Zainskaya GRES power plant, Balakovo NPP and supplies large industrial centers in the region.
The launch of the facility was attended by Andrey Murov, a Chairman of the Executive
Board of PAO “FGC UES (Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System)”, who highly appreciated the results of the modernization.
“Energia Yuga” company was responsible for creating a data transmission system between facilities of the branch office of PAO “FGC UES (Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System)” — Main Power Networks Volga, such as Saratov HPP, substations «Kubra», «Kinel», «Syzran», «Vozrozhdenie», «Tsentralnaya» and others. Our specialists carried out repairs and restoration of the fiber-optic communication line between these facilities with a total length of more than 110 km, as well as installation and start-up and adjustment operations of technical safety equipment systems on the territory of the «Kuibyshevskaya» substation.
