During large-scale reconstruction of the Privolzhsky airfield which houses the Russian Air Force Combat Training and Combat Employment Center, «Energia Yuga» company was responsible for construction of the distribution network and the supply of electrical power equipment for Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Main Military Construction Directorate No. 7" of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The whole scope of work was completed at the site starting with the pre-design survey, route selection, resolution of land issues before the line is put into operation.
To prevent the overhead power transmission
line 110 from interfering with the airfield radar, 12 km long air-cable transition and a cable section of the 110 kV power transmission line were built.
