In the city of Kamyshin, Volgograd Region, «Energiya Yuga» constructed the 10 kV transformer substation distribution point «RP-3».
The facility assumed the primary load of supplying electricity to the northeastern part of the city. The new installation replaced a physically worn-out and technologically obsolete distribution point that had been built 60 years earlier.
The new «RP-3» building was assembled using a structure of six fully factory-prefabricated block modules, which made it possible to reduce construction time and accelerate commissioning. To enhance efficiency and reliability of power supply, the electrical scheme of the distribution point was based on modern «Novatsiya» KSO switchgear manufactured by the Russian «Tavrida Electric Group». The switchgear is equipped with vacuum circuit breakers with a high operating life, as well as remote control and remote signaling systems.
The new switchgear units are characterized by compact dimensions, reduced maintenance time for integrated components, and ease of operation.
