In the Republic of Dagestan, construction is underway on a step-up substation for the Nogaiskaya Solar Power Plant

The construction of the 110 kV step-up substation for the Nogaiskaya Solar Power Plant is entering its final stage. Specialists from Energia Yuga have installed the 110 kV equipment, 10 kV equipment, as well as the 10 kV switchgear building combined with the auxiliary power unit. Work is underway to lay the 10-0.4 kV lines and secondary control circuits.

The 60 MW Nogaiskaya Solar Power Plant will be located in the Nogaisky District of the Republic of Dagestan, covering an area of 155 hectares. The new energy facility is planned to be commissioned this year.

The development of energy infrastructure based on renewable sources is one of the focuses of the "Strategy for the Socio-Economic Development of the North Caucasus Federal District until 2030."
